Laureates of 2013 Li Buyun Law Prize:Randle R. Edwards
Professor Edwards got his A.B., J.D., and M.Phil in Harvard. He taught at Columbia University from 1973 to 2002, and was director of the Center for Chinese Legal Studies from its creation in 1983 until his retirement. He served as chairman of the Committee on Legal Education Exchange with China from 1983-91. He has published numerous articles on China's criminal law, its practice of international law, and Chinese legal history.
Mr. Randle R. Edwards has been engaged in legal research for many years and has made significant contribution to China’s law subject construction and legal education.He has several published works that has enormous influence . Meanwhile, he enhanced the communication between Chinese and foreign jurist, broadened Chinese schorlars’ vision and expanded their global influence by playing the role of preacher.
